Frequently Asked Questions
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. A CSA is a way for consumers to get weekly produce that is local, seasonal and fresh directly from where it was grown and by who grew it.
A market garden is a relatively small operation that grows a diverse variety of crops as opposed to a monoculture. It uses more manual labor and techniques rather than big pieces of equipment used for large-scale agriculture. They typically sell their produce directly to customers, restaurants and shops.
I will be at the Superior pickup location before 4. You can pick up there for an extra $10. Please notify me the day before so I bring enough produce for everyone.
I offer only fresh harvested produce. If you cannot come that day, you can have a friend or family member pickup for you. Please let me know in advance if that is the case. You can also opt to have your share donated to the local food bank.
Yes. I offer a half share, which would be a good size for an individual or couple who love their veggies.
You can also consider going in with a neighbor, friend or coworker!
